I don't know whether this is a hardware or software problem.  I notice the
last few days that when I highlight a text (to copy it for pasting, or for
moving, etc.) the highlighting shows but doesn't "stick", or apply, so it
unhighlights immediately and the requested action doesn't occur.  This
happens in any Windows program, with web pages, MS Office, anything.

Has anyone experienced this before or know a "fix" for it?  Very
frustrating.
