I have a new Epson Stylus 740. They do warn you not to refill the
cartridges but you can do it. I have done that with mine and it works
perfectly. The only problem is when the printing head is part of the
cartridge. I believe the cartridge of 640 is the same like 740. Here in
Australia a color cartridge would cot 49 AUS$ while the ink is very cheap.
