Hi.
I have a MMX200 on an Asus TX97 mobo, with 96 (64+32) MB
PC100 memory, at 3x83 MHz, running without problems on W98,
Linux and OS/2, and all three with bm disk drivers.
However, it is true that sometimes PC100 memory doesn't work
on 66 MHz mobos, but possibly 66 MHz SDRAM dimms don't work
either; it should be considered it those mobos were designed
and tested (or the chipset) when SDRAM dimms were not of
common use.
