Sounds like a lot of fun Gary. I will share with you a place I go to
check out prices on things and they also have good prices also.
www.pricegrabbers.com
A nice AMD Athlon T-Bird sure does sound nice to me too.
Also try "pricewatch"
Another good place.
Good luck and have fun spending your money.
Sincerely,
Sue Dobbs *~*

Hello gang:

I have 100 bucks burning a whole in my pocket which could either get me a
faster CDRW drive than what I've already got or I could upgrade my 750mhz to
a ghz Duron or socket A T-Bird.

I burn about 1 to 2 CD's a week but I'd like to see my system running with
more horsepower. Would a broadband connection currently running a 750mhz
Duron be greatly improved by a 1ghz Duron or 950mhz T-bird?

I have 256mb pc133 RAM so that should suffice for my Win98se/xp dual boot
system. I am booting with a pair of 7200rpm, 80-pin SCSI hard drives with
an ATA/66 eide drive only used for mass storage.

Thanks for your input in advance,
