Hello Judy,
try to enable your LAN by Device manager in Control Panel.
Another way is to uninstall LAN driver, reboot your PC and
install that driver again. Should work. There're some other
ways to fix it but try it first.

P.S. Check also your BIOS settings if you have onboard LAN
     card.
