Okay, 2 good explainations for you,
What type of motherboard do you have, If you have a motherboard with built
in graphics thats where your memory is going, 16MB to thr graphics card,
these built in graphics share the total system memory rather then using
there own memory.

Another thing is that your CPU could be overclocked, on some boards they
will report the incorrect memory size as well as the incorrect CPU speed.
