Hi---
    The ATA Pro Dual from MicroFirmware is working fine for me on an Intell
VS440FX brd with current AmiBios update, using a Maxtor 11.5 gig EIDE HD.
Couldn't get the BIOS update , or any software to do it, but the add in brd
solved it.  Have a PPro 200, 128 megs, the 11.5 gig EIDE as boot, and older
4.3 gig Ultra Wide SCSI with data and left over prgrms.
