I would take a serious look at the power supply. It may have been adequate for your previous setup but the upgrade may require more juice. Try a (minimum) 350W PSU. Also some boards are quite picky about the RAM sticks you use, again they may have been fine for your last board but this one don't like 'em. Try running Memtest86 to check out the memory. Changed my board after it went bang (so to speak)and got random crashes and hangs etc. Turns out that the board had spat the dummy out with my RAM.
