Hi!
I have IBM ThinkPad P166MMX with CDROM. I had coplete system failure. In order to reinstall OS i tried to use service diskette but my ext FDD is not functioning properly.
I tried to enable BOOT-ing from CD in BIOS, but that is not supported.
Does enyone know's how to install OS?

There is, however option in BIOS of booting from PCMCIA. Does that meen that I only need PCMCIA bootable HDD ?
