Hi,

My friend has a Compaq Presario 1210 that has had intermittent
problems with power management in the past. Now, the 1210 won't even
go through its POST. It does emit 1 long and 3 short beeps which
seems to point to video failure, however, I am not totally convinced
of this. I had thought that it may be a firmware issue and we have
already installed the RomPaq for this version with no success.
 I am wondering if anyone has had experience with this error
and if so, is there a solution or must we deal with Compaq.
