Thank you all for the answer. I will make sure I reboot it before I try.
But, isn't that strange when I direct the "locate driver" to my CD, and it
says that the driver is not for my hardware???

I will let you guys if it works tomorrow. BTW, the scanner costs a little
bit over $30 after rebate from OfficeMax. If it works, it's a pretty good
buy for a 300X600 36-bit scanner. If it does not work, I will probably get
a Epson 1200U for its high resolution and good quality.
