Does anyone have a parallel port zip drive working reliably on a Windows
2000 Pro machine?

I just converted my laptop to W2k and installed the latest Omegaware that
is supposed to be compliant with Windows 2000.

The problem is that about the second or third time I try to interact with
it in any way (Clicking on a folder to open, try to drag a file, go up a
level in the file tree, etc.) it will freeze my screen and keyboard, and
the zip drive will not start *any* activity for 20 - 40 seconds. Then it
will perform the action perfectly. The hesitation has been as long as a
minute before the zip drive will light the activity light.

Any suggestions?

Doug
