Hello,

I have a Memorex CDRW(4x2x24)that I bought a while back. It worked great for
a long time but lately it will not burn anything. It reads discs with no
problem, but when I try to burn(data or music) the little light blinks away
and the NTI software tells me that write disc is successful but the disc is
still blank. Does the burner thingy(non-tech nomenclature) wear out over
time? I have tried to burn at 1x, 2x, and 4x, no go. Should I just go and
buy one of those new 40x CDRW's I've been drooling over with a clean
conscience knowing I can't repair this one? I've tried a Scotch lens cleaner
and that didn't help. Also I read and write from the same drive.
