Depending on the SCSI card you have, you should be able to go
into your SCSI drive utility (upon boot up) and low level format
the Seagate from the SCSI card. Usually there is a hot-key
(say, CTRL-A on a AHA-2940) that you press when the SCSI BIOS
loads after POST.
