I have 4 of these guys... 2 Northgate Omni Ultras (after which the 
Avant was copied) and two Stellars. These are the only keyboards I 
have used fro 20 years. They are by far the best keyboards ever made, 
especially for somebody who needs a positive click. In a large open 
office environment they can be annoying since they are clicky, but, 
then, that's the point.

I have had my keyboards cleaned and refurbished for a very reasonable 
fee - switches and caps replaced as needed, contacts cleaned, etc, so 
that they work as the did when they were new.

The repair work was done by Bob Tibbetts, who also has a nice 
assortment of refurbished keyboards for sale.
