Actually, the mobile XPs are great for running cooler, but you need to set
the voltage to their default, which is 1.45v for the "45 watt" models and
1.35v for the "35 watt" models.  I'm guessing that you have the voltage set
to something much higher than this.  I think they default to 1.6v on most
desktop motherboards, since they aren't properly recognized.  Desktop
Athlons run at 1.65v, for comparison.  Your milage may vary with regard to
how much voltage you'll need to run this processor at 1.9GHz, since it is
somewhat overclocked at that speed.

If I'm wrong about the voltage setting, I would take another look at how you
have your heatsink mounted, because it sounds like it isn't making full
contact with the processor.
