If the Video Card has gone bad or became unseated you would hear a series of
beeps...You can try to remove and reseat the card...Seldom does a processor
go bad, but I have had Cyrix processors that were defective and would not
boot correctly or be DOA....If the system is just dead, ie no beeps, noises
or drive lights coming on, then its most likely either the processor or the
motherboard....

One way to check if its the Motherboard is to remove the CPU fan,  turn on
the computer, turn off the computer.....if the CPU gets hot, then the
motherboard is functioning and the CPU is not....
