Right after sending my previous post, I found this:
www.linhardware.com/db/dispdriver.php3?DISP?1149. The URRL near the top
of of the page goes to Till Kamppeter, a developer at Mandrake. (That
would explain why Mandrake says "yes" when everyone else says "no".)
Till occasionally posts to the Mandrake Forum and mailing lists, and
seems to be a very sharp guy. Why not send him an e-mail?
