I've been following this discussion with interest, as I have a 386 which
was set up on a network, and the CMOS battery died.  It has no apparent
keyboard connector (not even an opening in the case!), and I was hoping
to see some suggestions - perhaps booting from a floppy with an autoexec.bat
file?

How do you set it up for a network with no way to connect a keyboard? Or must
there be a keyboard connection somewhere?
