I'll use IPX to share in the local network because it's more
game-compatible.

Also make sure that the only bindings checked in the network properties are
the ones you use to share (NetBEUI / IPX/SPX).

ALL TCP/IP instances do NOT need any bindings!!! Otherwise you'll compromise
your security.

Read more about it at www.grc.com (first do the ShieldsUp test).

Make sure File and Printer Sharing is installed on both PCs (Network
Properties) and you can see both PCs from either machine in Network
Neighborhood. (May need to add NetBeui protocol)
Install printer on machine 1 as a local printer and share it. You should now
see it from machine 2 in Network Neighborhood as being connected to machine
1.
Install printer on machine 2 as a network printer and browse to it's
location on machine 1 during installation. That should do it. Remember each
machine must be logged onto the network (password box when booting), and in
the same workgroup.
