 Looking at the manual at http://transcendusa.com/
it looks like this is a USB external storage device powered via the USB
cable.
I assume the box contains a hard drive with a USB interface adapter.
you can download the manual in many languages there.
They also have drivers for download.
Click on "products/storage"

I am testing a Transcend 20 GB StoreJet HDD 1.8" (TS20GSJ18) and have some
doubts.
As I dont hear any noise and by the "Jet" in the description I think no
mobile parts are inside. ??
Besides itīs a compact gear witn no visible screws or somewhat to open it.
You are not supose to.
Is it by definition faster or slower than a 5400rpm IDE HDD?
Whatīs inside that white sealed bo?
Does it work and keep information with no power?
