I was also interested in just what the advantages of multiple monitors. I
had this answered this past weekend at my son in-laws studio. He has two 21"
monitors running off a Matrox Dual Head AGP, and a 15" running off a PCI,
cheapie, vid card. The ability to be able to have a large music-mixing
program across multiple monitors is quite obvious all the while opening and
closing whatever programs on the small monitor all at the same time. So the
answer is yes, it can be done.
