After 2 days no reply, I think a bit more info may help. there it is:

the banshee card won't give me more color (24bit) under 800*600 resolution
until I install a driver for my monitor, but i don't have it. my monitor is
Belinea 10 50 35, i cannot find the file so i used the driver in win98 cd
for Belinea 10 50 95, it seems working ok. (well my old 4Mb S3 card doesn't
have any problem with unknown monitor as long as the monitor is digital)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
