So from computer B, you're saying that you can ping www.nospin.org and you
get a reply?  Or are you pinging Computer A and gettting a reply?  Are you
pinging some outside IP address?

- From Computer B, try the following steps:

        'ping localhost'  :: if there is reply, go to next step
        'ping [ip of localhost]'  :: if reply, go to next step
        'ping [your gateway ip]' :: if reply, go to next step
        'ping [207.225.38.56]'  :: if reply, go to next step
        'ping nospin.org'       :: if reply, go to next step
        start crusing the web

The problem is not in the OS but in the networking.  Your applications
just access the networking "stuff" (nic card, drivers, IP, etc...) for you
web browser to work.  If you cannot ping your gateway, then packets are
not traversing outside your little network.
