We have a visioneer scanner model 7600 (parallel connection) an HP 982
printer (hooked up to the scanner) on a new Gateway computer (W98SE). The
scanned images are appearing on the screen and printing with yellow
horizontal streaks. When we unplug the printer from the scanner, the problem
goes away. These same devices worked well on our old Gateway P90 and we're
wondering if it has somehting to do with the bi-directional settings in the
BIOS. Any suggestions for this would be appreciated. thanks.
