I have just formatted a HDD and tried to load win95 from the owners oem cdrom. All seems to go well until I get to the cd key entry stage. The software refuses to allow any text entry in these boxes. I tried my own win 95 disc and the same thing happens. I am very perplexed as things work on my machine. All this is happening on a 486 with a 515 Meg HDD. I do notice that on bootup I get two beeps and a message regarding "invalid cmos setup" and can either enter cmos or hit F1 to resume. When I do this all boots well and no problems are experienced except the one with the cd key entry. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rick Thornton
