David,
        Get a flashlight and look for a small piece of
lint or a hair hanging from the bottom of the
cradle that the ink cartridges sit in. It might
not be easy to spot at first.
        I had this happen to me once, it wasn't until the
3rd time I cleaned it, that I found the culprit.
