With all due respect to Mr. Neal, I've built many systems using FIC boards
and I have never had any problems with their product. They are fine, quality
built boards that are very stable...and have been reviewed favorably at such
sites at anandtech.com , tomshardware.com & lostcircuits.com. I've used the
PA-2006, 2007, 2013 & VA-503+ models.

In addition to FIC, the VIA MVP3 & 4 chipset is used by many other
motherboard manufacturers in the construction of Socket 7 and Super Socket 7
motherboards. True, most installs of Win95 and 98 require some installation
of specialized drivers to ensure stability, but, if it weren't for AMD
Corporation's support of the chipset in competing (CPU wise) with Intel, we
would probably be paying much higher prices for the CPU's that drive our
systems.
