I am having problems with a 3Com (3C905TX) Network Interface Card appearing
as New Hardware (Not installed).
About 30% of the time, from a 'Cold Boot' it appears as 'New Hardware' (I
just cancel & re-boot) - 70% of the time it works fine....
I have tried a new card (no change), changed 'PCI slots' (no change), fixed
the card's IRQ allocation in the BIOS (no change) & run a 3Com utility
(3C90XCFG.exe) to fix the cards resources (again - no luck).
The same symptoms appeared with Windows 2000, but I thought that Windows XP
would fix it.
Any ideas ?
