Possible causes of malfunction:
1. Defective power supply
2. Bad memory chip/s
3. Defective graphics card
4. Dead CPU

Start with power supply. Does fan spin when you power your computer? You
can measure the voltages on power outlets with a digital multimeter just
to confirm if you have 5 and 12 v. If power is good next check with your
RAM. Try to re-seat the RAM and re-start your computer. If this does not
solve your problem try installing other RAM for instance you can borrow
from a working computer. What is the capacity of your RAM? it a bit
diffiult to check you graphics card when its embedded on the
motherboard. If yo have a free pci try it on bu you should disable the
onboard card to avoid conflicts. If all these fail replace the
processor. By the way how do you rate your computer skills?
