several days ago, suddenly I lost all mdi sound files output.
The files are still there;no conflicts are apparent; I've run the latest
version of McAffee;
I reinstalled the sound blaster files; and looked at everything else I could
think off. Other sound files play ok. WinAmp looks like it is playing ( the
slider moves) but no sound issues forth.

Could this be a sound card problem? (Creative Sound Blaster 16 PCI)
Win98 SE, Pentium II 333, etc. IE 5.5

Any ideas would sure be helpful
TIA
