I wonder if anyone on the list can tell me how to remove/ replace the hard
drive in this laptop. The only information I have is the name on the cover
is MPC Nomad, model # N30W. The drive seems to be located on the front right
edge of the machine and when the screw on the bottom is removed the drive
will slide out about a half inch and stops dead. Is there something else
that I need to do to remove the drive?



The machine upon powering up sounds a siren and a prompt appears "No
Operating System Found". When attempting to start the machine with a boot
disk, along the way to re-install the OS a prompt appears that there is no
hard disk or the hard disk is not functioning properly. I can't even get
into the BIOS, but probably don't need to since it will boot from a disk.



Any help would be appreciated.
