         NetBEUI IS installed.   It is one of my protocol,  See below:

 > IPX/SPX=compatible Protocol ->Linksys LNEPCI II PCI Ethernet Adapter

 > TCP/IP -> Dial-Up Adapter
 > File and printer sharing for Microsoft Networks

         I've did that before I posted to this mailing list.   I've read
everything on the site and I've used those instructions and I still have
the same problem here.

         Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.   Since I've
waited so long to get a reply from Linksys support (no answer), the time
frame for returning this kit to the store where I purchased it  is
gone.   The kit will be filed in the trash and  I'll call it a learning
lesson.   I've spent way too many hours trying to get this to work.
