I'm not real familiar with installing SCSI cards, however, you have a couple
of options available. One is to reserve an IRQ for the SCSI card in Win98.
This is done in your device manager. Click on your computer, then the tab
Reserve Resources and assign the IRQ you want the SCSI device to take. If
you're not comfortable with that, remove a couple of your periphirals, such
as your sound card. Then install the SCSI device. Reinstall the Sound Card
and Windows98 should reassign it a different IRQ (note this is only true if
it is a "plug & play" device, if not you will need to manually set the IRQ
via jumpers on the card). Win98 allows some devices to share an IRQ, but
sometimes isn't real good at moving the devices to a different IRQ when
necessary.
