Lindows is a flavor of the Linux OS,  made to look and work like Microsoft
Windows. There is a lot of controversy about this from all sides. In fact
Microsoft is suing Lindows for using the name, and the look.

I was surprised when I first heard that WalMart was selling this. It isn't
like them to go out of the mainstream. Certainly, this is an enormous win
for Lindows.... at least if they can sustain some kind of market share.
