Hi-

The mobo(Aopen AX59PRO) I used to build my new machine came with bus
mastering drivers, which I installed. Nothing went up in smoke, and in
fact, the machine seems to run faster.

Up until now, I've never paid much attention to the issue of bus mastering
drivers, but I seem to recall that they've gotten a lot of bad press in
general. Now that I have them, I'm wondering why. What's the problem?

I realize this has probably been beaten to death on the list, so please
respond directly to me.

Thanks-
