Brad:

You have your floppy data cable (34-wire flat ribbon) installed incorrectly.
Colored edge goes to PIN #1 on all connections. A: Drive is after the
twist; the other end, no twists, goes to the controller. Middle connector
is B: Drive. Verify there are no bent pins; also check to see if CMOS has
the correct floppy drives selected.

If you didn't get a Win95 Startup disk, you have a Win95 Upgrade
Package (or maybe a counterfeit -- call Microsoft). Use your DOS Boot
Disk or a Win95a Startup Disk to prepare the HDD. FDISK and FORMAT
your hard drive, load your CD-ROM drivers, reboot, go to the CD and run
Setup. It will ask you for the location of your earlier Windows installation
or the first disk of the Installation Package. You don't have to install
Win 3.1x; just put Disk One into your A: Drive and tell Setup to look there.
Continue with the installation.
