Beware the knockoff motherboards. They may have the same specs as a known
name-brand, but to cut costs the use of wider tolerance components (such as
capacitors) can cut hardware lifespan and reduce system stability. Also,
testing on the product was likely not as extensive, so use in an unusual
system setup may prove buggy. Ongoing support, such as warranty returns and
BIOS upgrades, is likely to be poor as well. If MaxLogic is a designated
OEM for FIC, then you are really getting a board to FIC specs and supported
by FIC.

Now, at the heart of the matter, is the $87 for this board. That is too
high, even for the actual FIC board you seek. Check around on the internet
(himemsys has it for $74 right now, for example, which is less than $87 even
figuring shipping...plus you avoid state sales tax on most mail-order).
Happy hunting.
