Hi Susan..

I've had the amazing good fortune of buying an HP Scanjet 5P. It's
incredibly dependable, has a simple UI, and even has one button scanning can
be disabled, sometimes conflicts) , and a "photocopier" software that takes
images directly to the printer, emulating a copier.

Hope this helps..

Subject: [PCBUILD] Scanner

|Anyone have any suggestions for an easy "user friendly" scanner for someone
|who is relatively a beginner in the computer world? I mean one that is
easy
|to set up and easy to use. I do have a USB port on my Gateway computer.

|Thank you,
