  I wouldn't think so.  Ordinary IDE cables have female connectors at both 
ends, and anything that is expecting to adpat an IDE drive to USB or 
FireWire is going to provide its own female connector to plug into the 
drive.

  If you can find an IDE *extension* cable, that would work, but I think 
it's going to be easier to actually pull the drive from the 95 box, at least 
temporarily.
