Thank you Norwin for trying. I goofed! The program I am looking for is
actually named NextView, not Next Step. It is from the 1990s and is less
than a Megabyte in size. Unfortunately, there is another current program
named NextView that has nothing to do with the program I am looking for and
Google keeps homing in on that newer program.

I looked at Binsearch.info, a site notorious for contaminated and other
unfriendly software.  There is a 2013 version of a program called Next_Step
posted in October of 2014.  It is about 84 Mb.  I scanned it with Defender
and received no warnings.  It might be what you  want. Please be careful.
