That must not matter at all... I have a Surge Protector from APC (my
personal oppion the best stuff)...

1. 15 Amp.. nice... if a voltage of 300 or more enters your surge protector
it will break the Circuit breaker it's like a protection for high voltages,
when the breaker has jumped you can reset it again...

2. with good protection.
    without a breaker :-(((( really not nice... no protection...

Look for a good surge protector with a breaker, if needed you can also take
a protection of noise on the voltage line products... take a look at
www.apc.com there you can find lot's of information about it ...
