Hi, you won't be able to write at 4x. More like 1x and inconsistent 2x.
Unless you set min/max
settings in your Sys.ini for your VCACHE but chances are you don't have
Ultra 33 controllers
on your system for this to help. You'll also have much slower access times.
Bottom line - it will work at 1x write, also you should  ensure you have
enough drive space for virtual memory during the write or it could lock up.
