I have just put together my first small home network, 2 computers. Occassionally one or the other computer looses it's access to the interent. I'm sure the hardware portion is ok. All my Little green lights are on and my network icons in the tray don't have the little red "X". I am assuming it is an addressing problem, but just can't quit seem to get it figured out. After an undetermined amount of time the access is restored without changing any settings on either computer or the router. I have DCHP on the router enabled and when checking the TCP/IP properties both obtain IP and DNS server address automaticly is checked.
Both computers are running Windows 2000 Pro and the router is a Linksys Etherfast Cable/DSL Router model # BEFSR41
    Any help is greatly appreciated,

TIA
