Subject: [PCBUILD] Hewlett Packard Printers.

I have HP printers at work and they all eventually have the same problem.
After a period of time, they accumulate lines going horizontally across the
printed document and just overall have a smudging effect. We have cleaned
everything we know to clean inside with a cutip, plus have even purchased a
cleaning kit at Office Depot that was specifically supposed to eliminate the
problem. But now nothing seems to work. Yes, I have used the "cleaning"
tool in the HP software. Like I said, we have tried everything we know to
try. We even changed to "economy". That does help some, but the some of
those annoying lines are still there which makes the document look terrible.
Does anyone have any other suggestions as to how to clean our printers to
make the lines, marks, and smudges go away? I would really appreciate any
help you could give me. The printers in question are only about a year old.
They are the 600 series. As always, thank you all in advance.

Susan:
We also have several HP DeskJet 600 series printers at work. We recently had a problem identical to yours. The fix for us was to clean the bottom of the service station real well. Works like a charm!
HP has a maintenance tip that tells you exactly how to do a thorough cleaning job.
Get the tip from their website at the following:
