Hello Listers: First of all, I'm running WinXP Pro with 2.0 ghz, 1.0 ghz DDR memory, and the usual stuff. My problem is, I've lost all and, I mean ALL of my desktop icons including Recycle Bin. Previously,I had moved some of them down to the taskbar for instant launching but, not all of them. They work fine. If I add another APP to my system and it asks if I want to place an Icon on my desktop and I agree, when it finishes installing, I go to my desktop and the Icon is not there. Is there some way I can retrieve these icons to my now blank desktop?  I hope this makes sense to anyone out there.  TIA  Ed Bogert
