Anything is possible, but it is unlikely an intrusion is going to occur as
you boot.  Your Cable ISP most likely uses DHCP and the activity you are
seeing is the DHCP service on your PC seeking an IP address (or lease
renewal) from the ISP's DHCP server.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Protection during bootup ?

My PC is connected to the internet via a USB cable modem.
I use Sygate software firewall. When the computer is booting,
the activity light on the modem is flashing before the firewall loads.
Could there be any bad stuff  happening at that time ?
