You are correct. There are a lot of USB and wireless mice and keyboards out there. Discovered the combo mouse/keyboard ports are for a mouse OR a keyboard. A mouse AND a keyboard can be attached with a "Y" adapter. Am told the BIOS will recognize a USB or wireless mouse or keyboard.
