[Unless I am mistaken, I have already done that via the Task Manager's Services tab.  Also, if one of the listed services is hogging CPU cycles it is not "admitting" it.  I have come to believe that my culprit is under the radar of the services monitor or is programmed to hide the CPU usage that it is actually taking.  Yet, though this sounds like a malicious invader, virus scans and scans for spying software fail to find it.]
