        While there are several home solutions that let you walk around, I believe
the easiest way (although not cheapest or fastest by far) is with a PCS
phone. All phones based on the GSM standard are capable of a data
connection, many of the newer CDMA phones do as well, however network
support isn't there much. iDEN has data support as well. Most of these
solutions connect to the serial port of your computer, some PCS phones
emulate modems and don't need additional software, others require
proprietary software (such as the Nokia 51/61xx) but still use a serial
cable. A few models have irDa and therefore don't require a cable. TTYL
